2015-2016 Club Season Information

 

Powerhouse Athletics schedule for the 2015-2016 Club season offers a balance competition and training schedule that enables our student athletes to not only compete at a high level and get exposure to college coaches; while also supporting and encouraging our Student Athlete’s ability to maintains their academics during the school year. Student Athletes not interested in continuing their playing career beyond high school will be better prepared to play for their respective High Schools.  

 

Fees: $3,600.00

 

Fees Include:

  • Practice 3 days per week
    • December – May
  • Minimum of XX competition days
    • Including Single Day Tournaments, Multi-Day Tournaments, and a National Qualifier

  • Entry for all tournaments played

    • Lodging and transportation cost are not included

    • During Stay and Play Tournaments, student athletes will be required to stay at a hotel selected by the Club to meet tournament participation requirements

    • Student Athletes will be required to room with a parent or guardian during away events

  • Uniform Package:

    • Jersey – 2

    • Spandex – 2

    • Pair of Socks – 1

    • Shoes - 1

    • Backpack / Travel Package – 1        

 

Training and Development Focus

  • Precision focused training on core Volleyball fundamentals

    • Based on USA Volleyball High Performance (HP) Training Program

  • Highest level of competition

  • Advanced training for Middle Hitters, Setters and Liberos

  • Progressive attack & blocking training --- Would like to add something around plays, quick tempo and modern Volleyball Techniques based on USA Volleyball training curriculum

  • Strategic play, court presence and teamwork
